The workhouses were orphanages for abondoned children and the orphaned.The gouvernement created the workhouses.

Their clothes were dirty and rags.Their punishment was severe.They worked enormousey for sleep not much,the workhouses their gave the food and a bed.They slept in dorms.

The staff treated children just as slaves.The families adoptive didn't come any light.The gouvernement was terrified of encouraging lazy people was scary the population and would anything to keep out of it.
